Hi, my name is Jennifer Downer, owner of Boney Mountain Pet Sitting. I am blessed to live in Newbury Park, California, near  the hiking trails of Boney Peak. This mountain range is a reminder to me, of the vastness of God’s beautiful creation. Since 2006, I had operated my business as White Wave Pet Sitting Service. For nearly my entire life, I lived near the ocean. In 2017, I changed my company name to reflect my current location and my appreciation of this local community.  I serve the entire Conejo Valley, as well as Camarillo. 

As a professional pet sitter and dog walker, I love the opportunity to exercise and spend time outdoors, rather than spending most of my day  behind a desk. Animals can’t help but put a smile on my face, with a wagging tail or gentle purr of a cat on my lap!

I have over 15 years experience with caring for animals. This includes my employment at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital, as a veterinary assistant.  With this type of background, you can trust in my ability to handle a medical emergency, if this situation would occur with your pet.  I am capable of administering all types of medication, such as injections of insulin.

My passion is for taking care of pets. While the majority of my clients are cats and dogs, I have cared for fish, chickens, rabbits and more. I understand that these creatures aren’t just companions. They are beloved members of your family. I view them as your furry children (or sometimes finned or feathered), and dedicate myself to giving them the best possible care.
